Mount Sibayak located at Tanahkaro Karo plateau with height 2.094 m from sea level. 
Sibayak mount can reach from two place that is: from RajaBerneh countryside and from Brastagi town. this Mount Sibayak represent firing mount which still is active, and have cauldron which sloping enough to be gone down and see not too dangerous so long as don't too near by.
This mount not so difficult to climb even by a beginner. This crowded mount always visited by local climbers at weekend night. They usually start to mount around 02.00 early morning to get this top of the mountain sunrise view
From this top of the mountain we can see medan city view afar.

Hi there! I'm a beginner in mountain-climbing. I'm thinking to go to Mt. Sibayak. Do you think late December/early January is a good timing? thanks!
